Heidi’s paintings reflect the light of her native Santa Barbara, California, lifestyle.
Her paintings are collected by international clients from around the world.
Heidi has exhibited her paintings at the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, The Palm Springs Desert Museum, and held a one woman show at the College of the Desert, in Palm Desert California.
She is currently showing her work at “INDEED” a gallery on Pico Blvd. in Los Angeles, California, and “The JACKSON Gallery” in Palm Springs.
After obtaining her degree in Fine Arts, Heidi worked as a cinematographer in Hollywood for six years before concentrating exclusively on her first love, painting. She studied with Jack Baker, a well known Santa Barbara artist, Reginald Pollack, a famous New York artist and shared a studio with David Einstein, an abstract painter, in Palm Springs, California.
Her vast travels across Europe and Asia have allowed Heidi to hone her joyful and exuberant color palette, reflecting the light, energy, and beauty of nature.
Heidi paints from within, reflecting a lifetime of meditation, which translates onto the canvas, and draws the viewer into a place of happiness.

Heidi McKee is renovating the interior, pursuing more compelling and important exhibitions, and sharpening the collection strategy in a way that would serve the community and brighten the desert institution’s star among the “constellation of gallerys in Southern California.”
